Hired as a research assitant under Dr. Tairan Liu. In PACK Lab, I model a bio-inspired robotic fish using Python and C, numerical simulation, and control theory. My work focuses on underwater propulsion dynamics—tail curvature, frequency, and hydrodynamic forces—and designing tail-actuated control algorithms for efficient swimming. I collaborate with senior research assistants, utilizing simulation tools to study motion planning, stability, and energy-efficient locomotion for future autonomous aquatic robots.
